I am on a health plan eating 1200 calories a day of vegetables, fruits, eggs, nuts, mostly whole wheat carbs, chicken, and avoiding dairy. Lots of water and tea, and walking about eight miles a day. How much weight will I lose and in how much time?

If you continue to eat whole wheat and walk, you will find your weight begin to creep up, not down. Continuing to eat carbohydrates will have your body burning carbs rather than fat. Walking so much is teaching your body to store fat for fuel (which is never even reached since you are still eating those carbs). Eventually, you'll have to walk 16 miles to maintain your weight...so basically unsustainable. Cut out the wheat.
