Does anyone else like Adele?

Question

I think Adele is far more superior than any other artist topping the charts this year. I feel like artists tend to forget their roots. Adele's music is still tasteful. Lady Gaga is capable of being great but she writes wishy washy, bland pop songs. Adele has soul.

What are your thoughts?

I like her.  She's not an absolute favorite, but her music is enjoyable and yes, she's probably my favorite current Top 40 artist.  Pop music with a strong '60s soul influence... what's not to love?

Adele is awesome. I got to see her in 2008 when she came to our radio station to sing a couple of songs and do an interview. She did "Chasing Pavements" live with just her voice and a guy accompanying her on an acoustic guitar. She was amazing them.  4 years later she's a star.

I do love her she has a great voice and she's not a f*cking skinny mini like every other pop star so she makes a GREAT role model. Definitely the best new artist for this year, or maybe even ever.

I like her voice. And I've only heard three of her songs, rolling in the deep, someone like you and set fire to the rain. and yeah I agree with you, her music is tasteful. I quite like her songs. :)
