It depends on the boy really.

Nephew 1 (17) loves music so I got him a gift card to download music and a band shirt

Nephew 2 (15) loves video games so I got him a Halo game.

Nephew 3 (13) loves harry potter and "model kits" (like model cars and lego kits you follow a manual to finish) so I got him the newest movie and a lego set

My godson (14) loves to read so I got him a Amazon gift card so he could get the books he likes on his Kindle thing.

Basically it just depends on the boy, hope this helped some.

All 14 year old boys like video games. Maybe COD. Funny T shirts maybe. Or just give him a gift card

Unfortunately, today most kids crave violent or adventure video games. I guess you could buy him that. Or you could buy him some fashion clothes if he is the type of teen that likes to show off...

if he's a nerd, get him an interesting book. Or a new pair of braces, XD

XBOX 360 or PS3

If he's into a certain sport get him gear for that sport.
