Which mac should iBuy for my mom? Fast answer please.?

It's Christmas time, and her laptop cracked by the hand of my much younger brother. She has some issues with technical management, and really only has a computer for email and photos, so I'm looking to get her a mac. I'm having trouble deciding between the air and pro, probably the 13 or 15 inch versions. Which should I get for a technologically challenged photo-lover?

Update:

I know. Macs aren't my thing either. But she's had four PC's over the last six years. They just don't work out well for her. She'd really like the photo face-id organizer and things like that. I'm a gamer, so I don't use macs, but trust me. This would work better for her. If you know a pc that you think has better features, be my guest and list a specific product. Thanks for any information!

The Apple MacBook Air MC965LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop is more than capable of being a primary machine because of it's superb performance and overall very good screen. For everyday tasks, it should be snappy and a pleasure to use. However, students will get a $100 discount on the Pro while the Air only provides a $50 discount. This means that there is a price difference of $150 (for students). The storage space on the Air is limited (128GB or 256GB) while the Pro comes standard with 320GB. Plus, you can always add a SSD to the Pro later on. The Pro will be the better choice for creative students because it's screen has more color gamut than the Air's. Lastly, you are getting a full voltage processor which can make a difference in video encoding or other CPU intensive tasks..

Get her a netbook for christ sakes if that's all she does. Why pay that much money if that's all she does?

EDIT: YES Macs SUCK!!! You'll spend twice as much for the same hardware in a PC and have no where near the software compatibility. Not that it matters if all she does is email and photos. It's simple stupidity on your part to buy a mac.

I gotta agree with the netbook idea. If all she does is use the net and organize photos get a small netbook or laptop, and with all the money you save buy her some external hard drives to store her pictures.

If you really want the software with face-id organization I believe Adobe Lightroom has those features: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&cp=10...
