I need a good name for my growing puppy.....what do you think?

He was the runt in the litter and so was called Lil Bit. But now he is huge and the name doesn't fit. I have named my pets after characters in movies but just can't seem to come up with the right name for this huge gentle dog. I need to get a name tag for him but want a new name first....Can you help?

I had the same experience. The littlest little guy in the litter always needed help to get his fair share. He now hits 60 pounds and I've taken in a schnauzer mix and is up to almost 12 pounds now and has the attitude of a big dog. He got along so well with Lil Bit I would take them places together and everyone always thought the schnauzer was Lil Bit. But he knows his name and I don't care. I'm not changing names because I don't want to forget that sweet little puppy he was. He still is and thinks he should be a lap dog. Lil Bits mother I took in to foster until she had her pups. She got out and was a master at that...she ended up having her puppies in the drain pipe in front of my neighbors house. I looked in and looked in as she came out to eat and one day they all piled out...all eleven of them. She must have been a hussy because they pretty much looked different but big puppies. We raised them together and through a rescue group found good homes for all of them except Lil Bit. I just couldn't take him in and give him away...even to a good home. It happens and that's why rescuers end up with so many dogs. You just get so attached.

I think the name Lil Bit is still a good name. If your out walking him and someone askes his name it would make a good ironic story.. Just my opinion..
