We have insurance and only pay a $10 co pay but was just curious what it cost without insurance? Thanks for your time.

Right now, a prescription EpiPen costs about $75 to $100. If you or anyone ever really needed one, you would feel it worth every penny. I'm glad it was covered by your insurance!

    Have a wonderful allergy-free holiday!

    Epipen Cost

I am an RN and it just sickens me that epipens are so expensive. 5 years ago they cost about 65 dollars each. My sister has bee allergies and almost died, if it was not for the police transporting her to the hospital. Her insurance will not cover the cost. Whose right is it to play with people s lives? If a person has an anaphylatic reaction, IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN. It should be against the law to have someone go without an epipen when they are known to have a life threatening allergy. The new epinephrine device that is now being advertised costs approximately 460 dollars

I have no insurance and just tried to get my 2 0.3mg epipens filled at CVS, they tried to tell me it was over $300. This system is so screwed up, so I guess its just cheaper to wait for me to go into shock then to own an epipen. Great.

Filled for my son at CVS today, with my insurance coverage and a coupon for $100 off each 2-pack, I still have to pay $253 out of pocket for one kit. This is too expensive.

Walmart wanted $517 with no insurance. Good thing I have insurance, it brought the price down to $476. Looks like I'll roll the dice and go without. Our healthcare system is broken.

I just tried getting mine filled, and even with my insurance coverage and a card for $100 off each 2-pack, I still have to pay $256 out of pocket.

The cost is ALL about GREED & AVARICE which is defined as the

insatiable greed for riches; inordinate, miserly desire to gain and hoard wealth. (Webster's Dictionary).

It is my SINCERE wish that all of the individuals that voted to GOUGE the allergy suffers all develop a life-threatening allergy after they lose their jobs and insurance.
