What are your thoughts on this horrible turn of events?

Totally agree with this fact.daniel bryan got no mic skill,no charisma,no personality.his finishing move is just a ripoff of crippler crossface of benoit.he fooled wwe universe calling he gonna cash it the mitb briefcase at wrestlemania and then forgot the fact what he promised.he stole benoit's move and now he stole the almighty whc belt.right now daniel bryan doesn't deserve to be a world champion when talents like john morrison goes to wasteland.its a pure WTF moment!!!

I think Bryan winning the World Heavyweight Champion shows that WWE does give the World Title to big muscular guys. I honestly felt that Daniel Bryan is just a rip off of Chris Benoit but when I watched his ROH matches, I changed my mind. He is a great wrestler to only those true wrestling fans. I feel that he deserves the World Heavyweight Champion. You haters all don't give him the chance to shine. And this is not a horror. It is the daylight.

Just one thing and that's I think you are cut to watch wrestling when you can't even appreciate the one of the best wrestler in WWE roster and believe me unlike you I was shouting really hard "YES YES AT LAST HE IS THE CHAMP". Its not his fault that he has to job for others in most of his career but may be that's his persona who will emerge as the biggest superstar after uncountable defeat.

The only reason you don't like Daniel Bryan is because he has the appearance of an average human being. I bet if it were some roided up wrestler such as Batista you wouldn't be arguing. The kid has a lot of talent...

I felt the same way with Sheamus, and once he was world champ, he was fairly decent. The same with Jack Swagger. To me, CM Punk's character really grew when he won the World title from Jeff. He changed man, for the better. It was closer to how he acted in ROH. If I see this right, Big Show stays face, Bryan turns heel, and maybe we see him as he was in ROH, where he was actually good on the mic. So my honest opinion, lets wait and see how he does as world champ first. For all you know, everything you hate about him might change.
