I'm pregnant vs. Am I pregnant?

I think what would be more effective is to add a "Birth Control" sub-category. Most of the time when people frantically post here, it's because of a mishap with their contraception. Also, I get that you and other people get annoyed when people ask things like "OMG the condom broke am I pregnant?!?!?" There's no way to tell only a test will give an answer.

BUT a lot of pregnant/TTC people do the same. "I had light pinkish bleeding this month, & like my cat rubbed her face on my stomach & I think she said baby...this means I'm pregnant right?!?!?" Basically, everyone can be equally annoying & you just have to put up with everyone just as they put up with you.

Also, a lot of people come her with REAL issues, but don't want REAL answers. I answered a question about a woman who thought she was having a miscarriage. She was having somewhat heavy bleeding and cramping. I told her that this was not normal & that she should go see a doctor immediately. Everyone else who answered gave me a thumbs down & said I was being mean. Umm? Ok. Half of the pregnant people who come on here just want you to say what they want to hear which isn't helpful.

As for your question, you can petition but nothing will change. You can post in TTC or go to a different community.

Oh my goodness wouldn't that be nice? I'm 13 weeks pregnant and love getting advice and seeing other people who are going through the same things I am right now. It's so annoying having to filter through the "my boyfriend blew his load ten feet away from me but then I touched his hand and my boobs hurt and I think I'm pregnant!" seriously annoying. It sure would be nice if they had a am I pregnant section. Also a section for the "I'm a perverted lunatic who likes making people want to smack me on yahoo answers."

I agree. It would be way more easy to have seperate sections. Especially because there are lots of women who dont like the am i pregnant questions and dont want to answer them.

LOL. I wonder if anyone has done this yet. The teenagers and mindless adults alike could beg in their terror to each other in their own territory and leave the people with real questions alone.
