Have you ever seen the show "Toddlers and Tiaras"?

ugh yes, and i totally agree with you, it's really really disturbing, and i feel pity for those little girls cause their parents are such idiots and cannot really take care of them and don't know the harm they're doing to them; imagine how much of them will need to go to therapy when they grown up. It's just awful.

You gotta understand, the parents think their little Tchotchky or Fricasee or whatever is the most beeeeyoootiful child on earth, and they're setting out to prove it, despite what little Tchotchky or Fricasee want.

It's a vanity thing, and entertaining as a car wreck. I personally love watching it, but only because my own two little darlings, Godzilla and Ghidora, were never allowed to participate. They would stomp around eating the premises, breathing fire and whatnot, and scaring the locals, so I couldn't let them participate. Oh, well.

It's so messed up...

I use to think they were good for building young girls confidence, and self-esteem and what not.

But using fake eyelashes, bleaching their hair, and spray tanning them, AND stuffing four and five year olds bras? That is so stupid. I think in beauty pageants everyone should be a winner, and just have fun in them. No one is prettier then someone else.

I think it's excellent. Better they learn young that women are judged by one standard and one standard only: Physical beauty.

If only they had a money pageant for little boys.

Yes. It's horrible. That shows a freaking joke. Can't stand it. There was recently a small "revolt" to try to stop it but it was "crushed".

These little girls are gonna have some mad wrinkles when they're teenagers(aha)

I do not like that show. The way their moms are treating them. That's very mean of them.

I think it is perfectly fine it is up to these girls parents not you!! it's not like they wear makeup like that everyday! If you don't like it don't put your kids in it but I think it's wonderful parents try to help their kids have confidence :)
