I am confused about the belief re: Jesus's Power?
Christians -- you believe Jesus is God. You believe God is all powerful. Therefore, you believe the same of Jesus. So, did Jesus feel any pain while being crucified? An all powerful being would have the power to feel no pain. So, what would be the point of this pain?
-- To those who answered that he felt pain because he was in human form, what was the point of feeling this pain?
--Nice one Doc, I like your style.
@ Sigh -- Why would God go though all the trouble and spectacle of putting himself in human form, only to decline to be killed? That is illogical. I fail to see your point.
@ Dave. I, too, am an atheist. I thought that would be clear from my question. I gave you a thumbs up.

Jesus is fully God and fully human. He did not use his divinity until after his resurrection. Surely this is not too hard to understand.

Nope.
Jesus is God - check.
God is all powerful - check.
Jesus is all powerful - wrong.
Jesus was God, yes, but, he was also a human being. That means he had exactly the same powers, and limitations, as any other human. He tells us quite a few times in the Bible that anyone could do what he did, and even greater things, with faith. And, if you read Acts, many of his followers did to great miracles.
So, as a human being, he absolutely felt pain. And hunger, thirst, weakness.... That is what killed him - he was so badly abused physically, that his body just couldn't take it anymore, and he died. If he couldn't feel pain, he would not be human in the first place, and, he would not have died.

Sigh... The misconceptions on Christianity...
Jesus, although being God, was still human. This is what makes it so exceptional. God came down to earth as a humble human.
When Jesus was crucified, he had the option to get down from the cross. However, in order to forgive our sins, he had to suffer as a human and die. He also refused the wine offered to him by the Roman soldier. Wine was used in those times as a sort of pain reliever.
This is why we, as Christians, are awed by His deeds. He could have walked away from his suffering, but he chose not to.

we as humans have to suffer for our sins or as buddhists call them debts from previous.Jesus had to suffer all the pain physical and humiliation of being the greatest being ever to be on earth and treated as a criminal lowlife by human . Jesus took all that suffering so god the father could give Jesus the power to forgive all humans sins or debts. Basically Jesus had to suffer as suffering is the way to pay for our sins and to give humans the chance of everlasting life.

Back a few months ago the atheists seem like they had some intelligence by the questions that they asked...lol. First off, the Lord Jesus Christ is not The LORD of Hosts (GOD's Name & whom Jesus called Father) read: Saint John 20:17 & Saint Matthew 7:21-23 - (17) Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my GOD, and your GOD.
You people are quick to judge the faithful without No Facts...would it hurt you to actually read The HOLY Bible (KJV) so that you can base your questions upon the reproof of life?

Bloody good question!
I guess He wasn't really God, more like God in a human body.
