would you rather use "X-mas" or "Christmas"? Why?

a lot of my friends have been debating on whether to use "Xmas" or "Christmas" some thing Xmas is an Abbreviation of Christmas. But Some think its going against Christianity by taking out the word Christ and replacing it with X. I personally think its just an Abbreviation! What do you think?

It is both. It is an abbreviation that is removing Christ from the word ' Christmas '.

I prefer to say Christmas because saying x-mas sounds wrong and it only makes sense to say if you are writing because it is shorter.

People don't even know the Greek origin of the word Xmas. People assume Americans came up with the Xmas abbreviation. Oh well.

Unless you're just trying to abbreviate, you should use CHRISTmas. This is a celebration of the Birth of Christ. It makes no sense [and is offensive] to mark it as "X-mas"

X-mas is definitely an abbreviation of Christmas in my book :]

It does take Christ out of Christmas. That's my opinion.

I agree with punkin. I would rather use Christmas. X-mas just looks tacky and short. In my opinion..(:

might you quite drink a ketchup, mustard, beer, salt & pepper milkshake for breakfast each morning or roll around in a poison ivy plant? Foot long, untrimable nosehair??? LOL!
