★It's my mother's BIRTHDAY on Christmas Eve, any GIFT suggestions?
I'm the only that hasn't gotten her anything yet. Only thing i've got so far is a card and have absolutely no idea what to get her...She'll be turning 59 if that helps. She likes scrap-booking. Might make her one of those holiday ones, not sure. Any creative ideas would be great! preferably something Christmas themed..

•I'm on a tight budget! Only have $35
•Also my mom's a vegan, so no Holiday sweets! that are processed...
I've tried that, she won't eat'em :P

A homemade wreath or a scrapbook would be really cute. My dad is turning 59 tomorrow as well, and I couldn't think of anything to get him so I made cookies... if you can find some kind of vegan recipe that doesn't cost an arm and a leg you could make her some kind of treat... Good luck!

Something different and useful would be a pad of the note size paper, each one decorated with a little sketch or sticker showing what it's good for-a chore, a hug, a mother-daughter meal, a favor. You can use your imagination and the only cost is the materials and the things you promise to do, which since you love your mom would have been free anyway! It's a tangible reminder of your love.

A vegan cookbook PLUS a homemade Vegan Christmas dessert from the actual cookbook would be a beautiful gift from you : )
