Christians what do you think about Book of Enoch?

Jews and most western Christians don't see at as part of the bible

but the old eastern Christian churches do...

it mostly deals with describing us the kingdom of heaven and it's angels

what do you think about the book.

Update:

especially the part where it says that it was Azazel who thought mankind to use tools ,fire and teleology.

Update 2:

sorry "technology"

Update 3:

Joshua: Jews wrote it, but no Jew today reads it or gives any notice to it.

I have not read that one, but I have read a few others that are not in the Bible. They are interesting to me, but I have not found anything that would change anything for me yet. They seem to support the Bible, for the most part. Maybe I will read the book of Enoch, I think that I have it.

The Book of Enoch Teaches Heresy!

Is the Book of Enoch really a lost book of the Bible? A born-again Christian who has been reading the Bible for several years only needs to read the "Book of Enoch" briefly to know that something is very wrong. There are so many obvious flaws with this alleged missing book of God's Word. It is clear to me that someone copied from the Bible and wrote this garbage.

The same type of mumbo-jumbo can be readily observed in the Qur'an. I do NOT believe that Enoch, who lived during the time period of Genesis, wrote this manuscript. Evidently the King James translators didn't either, and for good reason. The Devil is working relentlessly to corrupt God's Word, as he has been doing since the Garden of Eden, when he caused Eve to doubt God's Word. Satan is so shrewd that he even tried to confuse our Lord by misinterpreting the Scriptures in Matthew 4:1-10. In these apostate times, the Word of God is under attack like never before. The reason why is simple... if Satan can pervert the Word of God into a lie, then he can control the masses!

To the Biblically ignorant reader, the Book of Enoch might have an appeal; but to a believer grounded in the Scriptures, the Book of Enoch is packed full of heresy.

I find it interesting, and educational, and also thinking of reading it again.

traditionally ascribed to Enoch, (the great-grandfather of Noah). It is not part of the biblical canon as used by Jews, apart from Beta Israel. It is regarded as canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and Eritrean Orthodox Church, but no other Christian group.

Western scholars believe that its older sections (mainly in the Book of the Watchers) date from about 300 BC, and the latest part (Book of Parables) probably was composed at the end of the 1st century BC.[2]

Ethiopians have it in their canon and it was found among the DSS. So I would agree that its scripture. Enoch's book doesn't teach heresy. Azazel was a demon. Plus Enoch teaches that Satan is a group of 200 fallen angels and not one being as taught in Christianity.

Nothing in it contradicts the rest of the Bible so I accept it as part of the canon
