Did you get any movies for Christmas?
My sister gave me Catch Me If You Can and Public Enemies, and with some money that I got I bought The Last Of the Mohicans, Brazil and The Sweet hereafter.
BQ: Have you seen any of the movies I listed? Thoughts on them?
BQ2: What's the most unexpected present you've ever recieved?
BQ3: What are you doing on Boxing Day? Sleeping in? Seeing a movie? Shopping? Watching sport?
Boxing day is December 26th, the day after Christmas
hey all :)
haha yeah Goku.... I knew that terms for days, items, etc varied from country to country but I had no idea about Boxing Day, that's actually pretty funny.
And I've got so much catching up to do this year movie wise, I've only seen four movies that came out this year, but nothing this year really appeals to me except Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes and Tree Of Life, heavily praised movies such as The Artist and Drive don't really make me excited.
Hope you had a great Christmas, and to everyone else :)
@ Master... I've only ever seen the first Rocky movie, I think I'll plan to see them all now, because the first one was incredible, glad it won best picture and is considered a classic, I love it when a film gets the appeciation it deserves :p
And I recommend everyone The Sweet Hereafter, one of the most humane films I've ever seen, exploes loss, traedy and community in a great way.

Well to be honest I have been so busy with collage and stuff this time around I have barely watched that many movies for the past 2 seasons. I think I have actually watched more TV shows like The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Dexter etc since they are shorter in length and takes less time. So now that I finally got a break for the holidays I have a lot of catching up to do. So after I chill with my friends a little more for the next couple of days I will be getting a lot of movies weather it be summer blockbusters, Oscar potentials etc. Anything that new looks interesting and I missed.
BQ-
I have seen all of them but The Sweet hereafter.
Catch Me If You Can is a very good movie. One of my favorite Spielberg films. Public Enemies and The Last Of the Mohican were ok. Didn't think much of Brazil.

I honestly have no idea. I don't really have a specific sort of expectations for presents. So I am usually not surprised at the gifts I get.

Ha ha Americans won't understand what Boxing Day is. It's not a term that's used here.
I don't know what I am doing tomorrow but today me and all my close friends are going to Disney World in about 30 minutes. We are just waiting for all our friends to finish getting ready. We are gonna be there till midnight most likely. We are probably going to a bunch of places in the next couple of days.
Merry Christmas :)

Even though they didn't arrive on Christmas, I got Panic Room (special edition), The Game, I Love Lucy season 5, and The Graduate.
BQ: haven't seen any of those movies
BQ2: I received a Ken barbie doll
BQ3: It already passed but I had a movie viewing marathon, among the films I saw that day: Poltergeist 2 (pretty lame movie), Commando (everything an action movie promises to be), Bonnie and Clyde (One of the greatest film of the 60's), and Heat (Which was also awesome, the best gang film I've ever seen)

I didn't receive any as presents but I did buy a couple for friends. I got them The Untouchables and Public Enemies
BQ: I had Public Enemies for a few days before I gave it to my friend but I didn't watch it. I've seen Catch Me If You Can. It's not one of my favourite movies starring Leonardo Di Caprio but it's still good.
BQ2: Not sure really
BQ3: I'll probably be spending time at my aunt's house.
