Intel Pentium G620 vs Core i3 2100?

Hi I currently have a budget gaming rig with an Intel Pentium G620. It can play games with out and problems as long as I don't jack up the settings too high. My graphics card is a Nvidia GT545. I also have 4 gigs of Kingston HyperX DDR3 1333. So How much of an improvement would I see if I upgraded to a i3 2100? Also does Hyper threading work in games?

For your first question, YES you will notice a considerable increase in performance when you change to an I3-2100 but in gaming, it is still the graphics card that has the last say. since all games are 75% GPU dependent thus it is very impt.

No games uses hyperthreading, thus is useless in gaming.
