How can I get over my crush?
So I have been friends with this guy since third grade and I am a freshman in high school now. We became especially close in middle school but I'm not allowed to date so I never asked him out or anything once I started to have a crush on him in seventh grade. Last year, I thought I was over him (crush wise) and told him tha I had a crush on him in seventh grade. He was cool with it but never said that he ever liked me back. Now this year I have a crush on hm again. I don't think he likes me more than as a friend because whenever I have asked him who he likes he says no one. He had his first girl friend over the summer but she broke up with him right befor school started in September. I have a lot of classes with him and we still are close. How do I get over beng in love with him since I know that he doesn't like me back?

oh my gosh i have the same problem as you! ive been in love with my first friend in first grade for ten years. we had the same class every year through elementary school then in middle school we always had classes together same with ninth grade but then i applied for my art school and had to leave. i wish i had enough courage to confess to him because i regret it completely. i don't think you need to get over him but if you really want to just try and crush on someone else or get a boyfriend or just make sure his feelings for you are clear so that way you can feel sure when you move on.
maybe just wait a little longer? maybe things will bloom within time?
