Wouldn't you say that it's more patriotic to spend money at home for our citizens instead of giving it away?
to the first world country Israel and funding governments like Pakistan? Israel has enough money on their own, they don't need an economic stimulus package. They spent $20 million of our money to assimilate Russian immigrants in Israeli society. What kind of nonsense is that? There are people in this country that need welfare and it's ridiculous that we are providing welfare to a first world country that could do without the funds. What's more outrageous is that the money that could be used here was spent on nation-building projects in Iraq and providing that nearly endless slush for Pakistan to run its government. We could use that money for domestic welfare instead.

How dare you! As true American patriot you MUST:
1) Fund as much as possible (and as long as possible): a) Israel; b) Pakistan; c) Saudi Arabia; d) Poland; e) Gruzia (so-called Georgia) - because they are the only true allies of the United States.
2) Support by any means possible all the 700+ US military bases around the Globe and even demand doubling of their quantity - because it is necessary for promoting freedom and world peace.
3) Outsource ANY remaining manufactures, including military ones, to China - because they work for fistful of rice, it's cheap and profitable for the US.
4) Protect by any means all the poppy fields in Afghanistan - because those proud freedom-loving Mujaheddins (they're allies) need to earn some money to feed their families, also because it's democratic.
5) Attack Russia ASAP! - because they're enemies, their wealth and resources are unfair, and because their nuclear missiles are old, rusty and fake - they won't hit back. It is a democratic move that will help the world peace.
As for the domestic bums on welfare you are referring to - let them starve to death, because they're worthless and don't fit the "New American Century" concept.

Simple answer is found within the defenition of two words:
Patriotic: Having or expressing devotion to and vigorous support for one's country.
Humanitarian Intervention: A term used to describe when a state or group of states employs military force within another country"s territory to protect civilians from atrocities, such as civil war, starvation or genocide.
Now.....what is the answer to your question? Is being loyal to your homeland a patriotic or a humanitarian interventionist effort?

As long as there are hungry women and children living in the streets right here in the "good ole U.S. of A." the time to let all these other countries take care of their own problems is way past due.
