Would you rather be handcuffed for a year to a piece of road kill or to a disapproving fundamentalist?
I know that "disapproving fundamentalist" is an oxymoron, but you must admit this is an INTERESTING question that deserves some thought and an explanation for your choice. Please.
NOTE TO Auntie Anne Arkey: You are right, of course, but then there is this:
The most common form of oxymoron involves an adjective-noun combination of two words. For example, the following line from Tennyson's "Idylls of the King" contains two oxymora:
"And faith unfaithful kept him falsely true."
Other examples of oxymora of this kind are:
Dark light
Living dead
Open secret
Original copy
Less often seen are noun-verb combinations of two words, such as the line"The silence whistles" from Nathan Alterman's "Summer Night," or in a record album title like "Sounds of Silence."
Oxymora are not always a pair of words; they can also be devised in the meaning of sentences or phrases.

Either choice would "stink", but at least the road kill would keep its opinions to itself.

I think you mean that "disapproving fundamentalist" is "redundant", not an "oxymoron". An oxymoron, by your thinking, would be a "permissive fundamentalist".
And I DON'T think this is a very interesting question nor worthy of much thought at all.

Disapproving fundamentalist. We would enjoy each other I am quite sure and come away with a better knowledge of all things spiritual.

I am an approving fundamentalist. I approve of your right to choose; so does God. I approve of the wrath to come; he's looking forward to it to (actually, I think he's looking forward to when the universe is restored to his original design). I hope you are, too. Handcuffs? Those don't fit in with his plan. I wish those on no one.

I think you mean tautology. The answer would be roadkill because i could cook it and eat it, but it would be wrong to kill and eat a fundamentalist.

Only if the road kill is small... I can't drag a deer for a year straight.

Disapproving fundamentalist isn't an oxymoron, its redundant. I'll take the fundie -- it will be a bigger hell for them to be handcuffed to me than it will be for me (who does not believe in hell).

is the disapproving fundamentalist a hot chick?

The roadkill would disintegrate to nothing. Id rather be handcuffed......to the roadkill.
