Jays fans..Matt Garza?

Has reading the so called "experts" on ESPN and I believe I came across either a "suggestion" or a rumour of the Jays trading for Matt Garza for Kyle Drabek and Anthony Gose. This has to be a joke right?

I wouldn't mind Garza, but realistically what can they offer to get him. (no way am i trading Drabek or Gose to get him)?

It seems to be that Alex Anthopoulos wants to make winning a short term goal. He knows he has a good enough offense to compete in the AL East, the pitching's what's missing.

Now the question arises: what pitcher can take down those titans in the lineups of Boston and New York? The answer: Matt Garza, who has proven that he can pitch in the AL East (2.89 ERA in 790.1 IP for Tampa between 2008-2010).

Trading Drabek seems a little drastic, but with the level of offensive talent Toronto carries, Anthopoulos probably believes that he can get himself another number 2-3 pitcher to accommodate what would be a front end of Ricky Romero and Garza.

Hey, Hiroki Kuroda is still out there. It'd be a sweet move if Toronto manages to take him from NYY and/or BOS, whom are both reportedly active for him.

As a fan of the Chicago Cubs, I wouldn't mind seeing Drabek and Goose coming to the team. The complete rebuild has me selling, but I'm not sure if I'd like to see Garza go.

To summarize, it would be beneficial to both teams yet it would hurt fans like you and I for a short time.

Hmm its a win now or never move, with Bautistas age and NYY/BOS weakness.

Garza might get us there now and he'll take down NY and Boston like his numbers suggest, maybe pitch well against him former team Tampa.

I am not a big fan of Drabek, the guy suffered in AAA after being sent down, maybe he will improve.

I am starting to like Gose though, if he can improve his BA or OBP and Power he would be amazing for Toronto, he is still young with move potential to be unlocked, so yeah he should be held on to.
