Where can I buy replacement covers for electric baseboard heater thermostats?

I have a couple of electric baseboard heaters in my downstairs family room (bi-level house). I've been remodeling the room and unfortunately I broke one of the plastic covers for the thermostat used to control the heaters.

Where can I buy replacement covers? I've looked in Lowes and Home Depot and can't find anything. I'm not looking to replace the actual thermostat - I just need a new cover to go on top of it. (I really don't want to spend the $20-$30 on a new thermostat just to use the cover.)

The dimensions are:

4-1/2" Tall x 2-3/4" Wide x 7/8" Deep

The opening for the dial is 1-3/8", with the center of the opening approx 1-5/8" from the top (and about 7/8" between the top of the opening and the top of box).

Thanks for your help.

Possibly on the manufacturer's web site. If you want to try your hand at making one use a beer can - the brand in the thin-est aluminum can making it easy to cut with scissors - and easily formed in the shape of the area you want to cover. Spray paint it to match. I have used the same basics to repair a knob that I broke off of the washing machine. The metal obtains a shape very easily and will save you a few bucks.

If you are just trying to replace the baseboards with space heaters, but want the same temp in those rooms all the time, the cost will be the same. Space heaters are not cheaper to run than baseboard electric. Oil filled, quartz, resistance wire...doesn't matter. If you turn down the heat in every room, and only use the space heaters in the rooms you want warmer, you can save some money. But the best way to save money is insulation. If the sidewalls are not well insulated, that's tougher to fix, but if the attic isn't, that is doable by the average homeowner, and will pay for itself in saved money, comfort, increased home value, and it's quieter, too. Easier to cool in the summer. I shoot for "R-60" in the attic when I'm doing it myself, because if you take the labor costs out of insulating, you can afford a LOT more.
