Can I wear the same dress for an Xmas & new years eve party?
I bought a very nice red satin party dress which I wore at a Christmas party. Is there anyway I can make the entire outfit look different for the new years eve party but still keep the same dress?
CHRISTMAS PARTY
- silver tint eye shadow
- red blush
- red lipstick
- shiny silver chandelier ear rings
- red satin deep V, open back party dress
- patterned black pantyhose
- knee high black leather boots
If I alter the outfit for the new years eve party like so, will the outfit look very different?
- dark smokey eyes, eye shadow
- glossy lipstick
- gold tiara
- gold hoop earrings
- gold necklace with crystal heart pendant
- red satin deep V, open back party dress
- gold sash across the waist
- glossy suntan pantyhose
- skin tone knee high leather boots
Is there anything else I can do to the outfit to make my new years outfit look different from the Christmas outfit even though the dress is the same?
@Mimi - I like your idea of wearing hair differently. If I wore my hair up at the Christmas party. Perhaps if I wear my long hair down, I can look very different?
@Inaari - It is a different venue but there could be people at the new years party who were also at the Christmas party.
@Fabulous - Would a cardigan make the outfit too conservative? Interesting idea, pulling the red skirt up and adding a black skirt to change colours. Add to the fact that at Christmas, I had black tights, black boots and this time I have suntan tights & boots, everything below my waist will look different.
@Brian - I was thinking the same thing! With my pantyhose & boots being a different color, I already look quite different. As for sandals, I want a more dressed up, sexy look for new years eve, not a casual, going to the beach look.

I think that between the different type/color pantyhose and the different make up/accessories, you've pretty much got it covered. I would only suggest wearing elegant strappy sandals instead boots on New Years (with sandal foot pantyhose that is completely sheer, of course). Other than that, your plan is clever and perfect.
Have a great time; I'm sure you'll look great.

Try adding a cardigan that is about the same length as your dress. Throw a belt over it on the waistline.
Or any cardigan or jacket/coat.
Try carrying a purse. Or a clutch, but I don't really like carrying clutches.
If you like, pull up a skirt over your dress (perhaps a black or white skirt) so it looks like you have a red top with a black skirt on.

particular its nice in case you place on a dress while its snowy exterior as long as your no longer exterior simply by fact then it incredibly is uncomfortable yet incredibly its what ever you need, do no longer hassle what they think of.
