What does clamshell and bullpack mean on the Beretta website?

I'm on Beretta's website and have just gotten a new 92 FS and I was going to buy a few more factory mags for it. So when I find them it has two different options for the magazines Packaged (clamshell) and unpackaged (bull pack) What is the difference between the two? there's about a 10 dollar price difference.

clamshell means it's packaged in a plastic pack like you would see in a retail store hanging on a display rack.

Bull pack means it's just a loose magazine, no packaging whatsoever.

I'd go for the bull pack loose mags. same thing, less money. The packaging will end up in the trash anyway. Strange that all that packaging adds $10 to the price.

Either way they are factory mags.
