Differences between Equipment operator and Construction mechanic...?
I recently went into DEP with the Navy and signed as a CM (Construction Mechanic). I was wondering what were the main differences between EO (Equipment Operator) and CM. Obviously one primarily operates the vehicles and the other fixes them. But I was wondering how different are these jobs for anyone that is in the Navy? Are EO's really capable of repairing the equipment like a CM can? Do CM's ever get to operate the equipment? What are deployments like?
Plus any thing else you may want to add.
Thanks in advance!
1 AnswerMilitary7 years agoFreeriding...... Help me understand please!!!?
Okay,
How is it possible to be a day trader with freeriding?
I know there are different types of day trading ( swing trading, etc..) But, if it takes 3 days for your funds to settle with the stock than you can't be a true day trader executing multiple trades a day, unless the three days have already elapsed.
Is this why some day traders invest in commodities and currencies?
Please help me understand...
Thanks!
2 AnswersInvesting7 years agoWant to make a UTV (Side x Side) daily driver located in FL?
Hello all,
I really need some advice, right now I have a pick up truck, motorcycle, and was thinking of getting a UTV. I am a college student right now and don't live to far from campus (SF College). My home is about 10 miles away and mostly county highway roads. I really like the Artic Cat 1000 H.O. 1000, but am pretty open. My main concern is just something that is street legal and is capabable of traveling 10 miles of county highway at 55 MPH several times a week. I know it's not the most practical thing but I have only had a motorcycle for the past year and that has worked fine for me, so this is certainly a step up.
All advice and suggestions is appreciated. *Again I live in FL so there traffic laws may be different.*

3 AnswersInvesting8 years agoI am going to do special forces what should I start doing to train?
I am a senior in high school. I am going to do special forces regardless of what it takes. I have been doing some stuff to start getting ready for it. Like running, learning Spanish, upper body work outs, survival stuff, and things along those lines. I also have the option of going to college should I go for four years then go in or just go in with no college? I want to make a career out of the military and stay in for a long time. I would appreciate all suggestions and feedback.
I want to be in the Rangers, Green Berets, or Para-rescue.
3 AnswersMilitary8 years agoLife after high school considering military?
Let me start this by saying I know that I may sound like every other special forces wanna be but hear me out. I currently with a very close personal friend. He has been my mentor etc... I know he is not in the best health and will probably pass away in several years. (I know I may sound terrible right now but lets not sound overly optimistic.) As far as my future plan is concerned I want something were I will be able to kick back when I am old and live nicely if I don't die young. Now to get back ontrack as far as a job that would provide a decent income for me I am wondering if I should get a degree before or after I go into the service. If I get my degree first than I can be an officer which I don't know is better or not and I will also be able to spend more time with my mentor and close friend. Or if it would be better to go into the service and get a degree and all that after I am in there. If I go in the service than I will do what ever it takes to be in special forces. I am currently now in pretty good shape. (I ran cross country and am very athletic.) I have excellent grades and would consider my self to be intelligent. I have been looking at the different Special forces for each branch. I have decided that I would like to be in Delta Force. Then maybe move to something else I am not to sure. I have a few questions though as to what life in Delta Force would consist of I have no problem with walking away from the life I have now and pursuing this. After this though what would be a good thing for me to pursue? If anyone here watches Burn Notice Micheal Weston has always been my favorite "badass." Is there anything in the world now that actually does thing's like what he does? I know it sounds a little ridiculous but I would give anything to have that life. As far as life after military and all is concerned or should I just stay in? Should I do college before or after going in?
I am a 17 year old senior that has everything going for me and I just want to make the best decision for my future.
Thanks to anyone who replies to this with good honest answers!
Sincerely,
Stefan
3 AnswersMilitary9 years ago2008 F150 versus 2008 GMC 1500?
I am getting a newish truck soon. I can get pretty much anything around 20k or less.
I want something that I will never have to worry about when I connect a trailer to it.
(It will have to haul at least 4-5 tons I never want to have to worry about not having enough power)
I want something that is going to be the most reliable and cheapest to repair and get the best MPGs.
Also I want the most luxury features for the budget I have. (Nav, heated leather seat, etc...)
It doesn't have to be an F150 it could be an F250, or 2500HD, or Ram 2500 if you guys think that would be better. It could also be newer than 2008 that is just the oldest model I want.
the truck has to be four door, maybe four wheel drive I don't really care unless it makes a difference for towing. THE TRUCK SHOULD LAST ME AT LEAST 200K MILES MAYBE 250K!!!!
The longer it lasts the better I will be taking fairly long trips often.
Thanks to everyone who answers!!!!
1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation9 years agoWent by a school bus... Freaking out!!!?
So today after one of my friends getting in an accident my wondered off like I am sure everyone has so please people don't say you need to have your mind on the road 24/7 because I know everyone's mind wonders occasionally. The bus was stopped with stop sign thing out and i'm not sure why I didn't see it. I was focused on my own lane so I guess what is why I missed it. It was on the other side of the road and I passed by and I feel so terrible. Like if something happened some one got hurt etc...
As I passed by I started freaking out and felt really terrible. Then quickly made a right turn and left that area. I am curious as to what my happen I would really like not to get a ticket but you can't justify something like that. Just wondering what my options are. I live in FL some states may have different punishments. There were also no cops around.
3 AnswersCommuting9 years agoNeed help on a 2008 or newer work truck...?
So I pretty much have my mind made up on what I will want and need. I really like to 2008 and newer GMC trucks the best. I know it's a little bit more expensive but I have a GMC now and am really pleased. I was wondering how Ford, Ram, and Toyota stacked up to the GMC 1500 Denali. I was going on back and forth between a half ton and the three quarter ton. In the end I think the most heavy duty half ton should do. I want something that will get the best MPG's, most inexpensiveness to repair, and just the most durable. Also if you know of a three quarter ton that is just better then the half ton without getting the horrible half ton fuel economy I would love to hear what you have to say.

1 AnswerHunting9 years agoIs there any age limit to shooting a handgun in Fl?
Can you be under 18 and shoot at a range by yourself or do you need a parent or someone with you?
8 AnswersHunting9 years agoWhat is the better handgun for all around use?
I want to know what the best all around handgun is and caliber to. I like 40 & 45's The gun would be used at the range and for self defense. I want the gun to be able to take something down in one shot (have stopping power) have a decent magazine size and be practical to shoot I don't want anything with a ridiculous recoil plus I want it to be very accurate I'm looking to spend a grand or less. ( maybe a little more if it's worth it) basically I need to be schooled up in the different kinds of ammunition to like hallow etc....

3 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoUpgrading to a Ducati 848?
A have been riding a 2010 Ninja 250R around for about 8 months and put on about 12,000 miles. I was wondering if I could handle the new Ducati 848 Evo or if it may be a little to much to handle. Also could some one educate me on the maintenance I think there due ever 7,500 miles how much are those services typically and also how comfortable or livable is the riding position vs the Ninja 250Rs.
Thanks!
