Making HTC Wildfire S in to a hotspot?

Is it possible to turn the Wildfire S in to a wi-fi hotspot that I could use with my iPod Touch 4G and laptop? I'm looking at purchasing this little phone but want to be able to have this feature, it's pretty important for the type of usage I want.

    It's possible unless you root the phone in other words get root access to be able to use this feature. Just Google how to root it and you can do much more with this phone.
