For the people that suggest Pascal's Wager to atheists?

Wouldn't it be dishonest to believe in God just in case? If there was a God, wouldn't he be able to see right through that?

It's called "having your cake and eating it too". They claim their god is all-knowing, but if we just pretend to believe, we can pull a fast one on him. They claim their god is all-loving, but if we live exemplary lives, but do something as harmless as not believe through complete lack of evidence, he would "lovingly" send us to eternal torment in hell. They claim their god is all-powerful, but somehow he needs us to trust in him and pray to him even though he doesn't seem to be able to answer every prayer or make himself known to us. Instead, he makes us rely on faith so that he can punish us for being imperfect because we were supposedly created that way. Hypocrisy.

I think they just use Pascal's Wager to annoy us into believing. Maybe they think if we get irritated enough we'll pretend to believe and they can pretend they won.

But that's the bait most Christians use to get atheists to follow their religion. We are losing members man!

What if we picked the wrong religion? Every sunday we're just making God madder and madder.

Yep, of course, and he'd also probably be a little upset that you're faking belief in a bunch of other gods, too.

Yes, would "god" really like it if you were just hedging your bets?
