When I was a Jehovah's Witness I would have said no.

Now, I am friends with a lot of people with different views.

Of course and I am. My close friends are Christian (I'm Pagan). I married an agnostic... my son is agnostic. My sister (who is a friend as well) is Wiccan. It's not the world view I look at, but the individual. I can find assholes in any world view ;-)

    Yes, but its difficult.

My best two friends, when I was in the Navy, were Mormons.

I was a Bible-believing Lutheran, at the time, who believed, as most Lutherans should, in Sola Scriptura, that is the only inspired teaching came from the Scriptures.

The problem is that Mormons consider 3 other books, "Scriptures" which the rest of Christianity rejects as authored by Joseph Smith with no help from God.

I believed Jesus was God's only begotton Son, they believe Jesus and Lucifer were brothers.

I believed Jesus was born to a Virgin, they believed Mary had had sex with Elohim (God).

They were both married and faithful to their wives, neither went to bars or worse.

    So its difficult but possible.

Absolutely. I guess it depends on the persons outlook, their personality, and how devout they are. Are they willing to engage in open dialogue about faith without it becoming a fight? If not then I probably couldnt get along with them.

God calls us to be salt and light in the world. How do you do this if you just keep it in your own circle? So yes.

Yes. Not all of my friends are Christian.
