What would you like to ask? What do you really mean when you tell someone they are too nice?

I think it sounds sarcastic but I was just wanting to hear different takes on this.

Maybe the person that said that felt guilty and completely undeserved of your kindness. To call them a pushover after they were kind to you is mean I think. They just look at life a different way. Someone said that about me once too, but basically I'm not around those who talk that way. I believe in doing what the Bible says and the fruits of the spirit are essential.

It usually means they live in "La-la Land" and need a dose of reality, because this world will eat up and chew nice people over and over again. It means you should really start standing up for yourself and learn how to take bad news without getting too emotional.

It usually was a farewell and end of a relationship, but I haven't had to worry about it for over twenty years.

it means you're a doormat who lets people walk all over you & use you.

you don't stand up for yourself. you don't know how to say no. you feel guilt inappropriately & you allow people to talk you into doing things you don't want to do.
