No one has yet been convicted of Lawrence's murder. On 18 May 2011, it was announced that two of the original suspects were to stand trial for the murder in the light of "new and substantial evidence" becoming available. A jury was selected on Monday 14 November 2011, and the trial started on the following day. There were originally 5 suspects and it was thought to be gang and race motivated.

yes....a bit late but fantastic result for the family of an innocent child murdered for no reason but the colour of his skin.
