Red Rash stuff but not Chicken Pox or Small Pox?

I have these little tiny red bumps over my right hand but not my left..i have some on my back and some on both my legs. i have one bigger bump on my left ankle, but I don't have a fever and the itching is mild. is this some kind of skin disease? my skin doctor gave me a few prescriptions but it still comes and itches mildly. i've used moisturizing lotion (it seems my skin can be dry..? on my right arm..?) the prescription, and a bunch of other lotions that came from samples at the doctors place. nothing really works. i've tried to tower the lotion, like put the moistureizing lotion right on top of the prescription, but that makes my skin sting real bad after a few hours. Help?!?!
