how to avoid eating when bored?

i'm trying to lose another ten lbs, but when i'm bored i have a tendency to eat when i don't need to. are there any good distraction techniques?

    it's called 'will power' ... or have a large glass of water.

    distraction is even easier; read a book, watch tv...

    i'm exactly the same!

    I tend to find that going for a walk helps because your exercising and not eating, you could do some kind of exercise indoors too if the weather is bad and you don't want to go outdoors. You could also do some housework. Play a game (if your into that). Find some good websites online that interests you. anything to get your mind off food.

    You can try drinking water, or snacking on some low fat crackers. Or you could also have some cut up veggies in the refrigerator so anytime you feel like eating you can chew on them. Good luck!

    MAKE something an activity by using your Imagination or eat fruit simple! x
