need advise about hair products?

I am confused about what kind of hair products I need for my hair. I have medium length very straight and very fine hair. When I get my hair cut ( I always go to a walk-in salon and get a different hair dresser each time) they always comment on how my hair tangles so badly. Then they always ask if I use conditioner and what kind of shampoo I am using. They always tell me to use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. This time she said that it felt like their was a wax build-up on my hair. Before I left she put some kind of gloss in my hair. Wouldn't that make it more waxy feeling??? I have tried using moisturizing shampoo and conditioner but it always seems to make it really oily. Right now I am using herbal essence touchably smooth shampoo. I haven't tried the conditioner because conditioners make my hair oily, but the shampoo makes it feel awful. Like it will feel oily right out of the shower, and I can rinse and rinse and it never seems to rinse out completely. I wonder if this is the wax feeling she was talking about. I guess my question for everyone would be is what kind of shampoo do I actually need? Do I need moisturizing products and use conditioner because my hair is tanglely and can be dry? If I do how can I combat the oiliness? I have to wash my hair everyday because it is oily and sometimes it won't hold out the whole day without feeling oily. I like the sleek shiny look but it always seems to be oily instead :( Then if I use a more cleansing shampoo that takes care of oiliness it feel too dried out. Ahhh! Also what are your product suggestions? Something affordable that can be bought at a supermarket like walmart would be great!

Go to a different salon! You more than likely need to try a different brand and type of shampoo, find something for fine hair (pantene pro-v makes something for fine hair). Also look for a clarifying shampoo this will remove the waxy buildup (you should do this once a month anyway). And yes with fine hair you should be conditioning, because it breaks so easily and tangles without it. But get something relatively light. I like Aussie's Cleanse & Mend shampoo and conditioner, it's not heavy, and it rinses out very easily. Also you really only need to clean the scalp portion of your hair with shampoo, you should condition the ends of your hair while you shampoo the scalp portion, when you rinse out the shampoo it will clean and rinse out the conditioner on the bottom, and it will also protect your ends from the shampoo that is very drying. If you feel the need you can take one more pump of conditioner and rub in your hands, and run your hands from scalp to ends just to get some moisture back in. And definitely get a detangler. I like Johnson & Johnson's no more tears, it's easy to find, it smells good, and it works! It also can work like a leave-in conditioner, only lighter, so it doesn't do the oily thing, or the weigh your hair down thing. I also have very straight very fine hair. It's trial and error for the right products for your hair! I wish you the best of luck!

My hair is fine and wavy, about shoulder length, and I can't handle most of the popular conditioners out there; they weigh it down. I look for a conditioner that promotes volume, and usually end up with the very inexpensive Salon Selectives line from Big Lots (about $1.50 a bottle). If you just want to remove tangles when you shampoo daily, you might get a bottle of Johnson's No More Tangles (kids' product), and maybe just use a light conditioner once a week or so. Moisturizing products are okay for those without fine hair, but they're not for everyone. For shampoo, I alternate between a Suave lavender shampoo and Walmart's generic dandruff shampoo. Remember - you're usually the best judge of what's right for you; stylists sometimes just want to push products. Another good after-shampoo rinse that won't add oil or wax to hair is white vinegar or cider vinegar, mixed with a bit of water.

The undesirable information about chop up ends is that there is no medical look after them except slicing them off. yet once you rid your self of those horrid ends, you should attain for an really huge conditioner or hair mask. an really good recipe for a hair mask is to mash an entire avocado in a bowl and upload a million tbsp of olive oil. placed the mask on your hair for more suitable or less 1/2 an hour (or longer in case you want) and then wash it out thoroughly. in case you cant be concerned to make an avacado hair mask, you would possibly want to attempt Redken's All mushy sequence - it has avacado oil excellent in there so that you dont might want to do any mashing. in case you dont imagine the All mushy will artwork on you, you may also attempt Redken's severe line. I reccomend both, they are miracle workers.

Try a detangling spray. I know that John Frieda makes a good one in his 'Frizzys collection.' Hope this helps..oh ya, and try aussie three minute miracle! It works SOOO good! :)
