Does a habanero plant have to be around other habanero plants to get pollinated?
Or can it be pollinated by other plants? Also, will weather in the 50s (F) affect it's growth?

no. i have grown a single habanero plant a number of times with excellent results. it was always a little slow, but as the weather really warmed up it was full of peppers. they do best in hot weather. pepper plants will basically just sit there and do nothing until it warms up a lot. one other thing. the 1st time i grew a habanero plant i noticed the peppers where green. i knew they would turn orange, but i assumed the green ones would be mild. big mistake. i ate the whole pepper in one or two bites and THEN the heat hit. good thing i was watering the garden at the time.
