When using a pulse ox would it be okay to place the toe sensor on the second toe rather than the big toe?

Would you still get an accurate reading? The patient is pediatric and I'm using an infant sensor. The big toe is a bit too large, but the toe next to it is small and I was getting wonderful reads. I was just wondering if there was a pulse and if the readings were accurate using the second toe. Thanks.
