HOF question? love for some ageing big cats?
I am fairly certain that Allen Trammel will never get in. Still, do you think he will ever break 40% of the vote? I grew up watching the Tigers during the early eighties and it would be nice to see one of my childhood heroes and half of one of the best middle infields in the modern era. On that note will LLLLOOOOUUU ever be properly recognized?

40% maybe possible even this year it would be a big jump but no key names up for vote outside Bagwell 2 Nd attempt Larkin who will go in. Next year we start the group with(roids stigma) . Allan Trammell (you raise the ? but spell his name wrong lol) was pre roids so he can stick on ballot. $0 % I can see but does 40 % really mean anything ? Excellent underrated player spoiled and overlooked because by the time his name got to the ballot huge numbers were being generated in baseball. All the 80's players are suffering on the ballot justly or not.
It was such a joy watching him and Lou turn the diamond double play sadly only Ozzie or Maz get in on defense. One of big problems is both Allan and Lou were teammates unless your named Tinkers ,Ever or Chance it hurts your hall chance.
One of the greatest mis-justice in my opinion was the Lou one and your done. Both may not be HoF'ers but they deserve more respect.

You mention Trammell and Whitaker both players deserve more respect from the writers then they received but i think Trammell reaching 40 percent this year is a little bit of a reach. You also mentioned that you grew up watching the Tigers in the early 80's, but did not mention their number 1 starter and someone with pretty good odds of getting the 75% needed for enshrinement this year, thanks mainly on the weak 1st year eligible ballot, Mr. John Scott Morris or better known as "Jack".
