did he have a brain tumor as inez suggested? the whole thing of paris turning into the 20s after midnight is a delusion, right? it is all in his mind, right?

In my opinion, Owen Wilson(in the movie Gil) created a time-traveling world for himself, that kept the plot going, showing people how in his mind, life was perfect back then (In Paris), and how the director evolved his creativity to a higher level.
He noticed his wife acting different and boom! off in the 20s he finds the perfect girl for him.
His writing starts to become 'poorly' written and boom! off in the 20s he meets his favorite author who gives him extremely helpful tips on improving his writing.
A lot of booms...either way, a great film, and yes, owen wilson started living in his dream world after midnight- that was all in his mind.
