Looking for a good resource on building a treehouse for my Daughter ?

I'm planning on building a treehouse/playscape in my backyard for my daughter. I have the perfect tree for it, and I want to attach a playscape beneath it with slides coming from the top, swings underneath etc. I don't want it to be a cookie cutter tree house. I want to use some sort of theme for it. Like a pirate ship or something. Does anyone have any experience or resourse in doing a project like this? I need ideas and structural plans. Thanks!!!

    One word of caution, make sure you check on the building codes, you may need to submit plans and obtain a permit. This happened in Tampa Fl, a homeowner did not have a permit to build the tree house and the city made him remove it. This was back in the 1970's.
