How to convince my mother to buy me this camera?
I really really want a camera, a specific canon EOS 60D, it's a lot of money, I know. I love photography and hope it becomes my hobby. My father was a hobby photographer and I think I got it from him. I've explained to my mom that this camera has been recommended by 2 older friends and I have shown her the amazing photographs it takes. I asked for it for Xmas but no luck, I asked for it for my bday and she said maybe which in mom language means no. I'm 15, I really would love to have this camera, any ideas or good arguments on y I should get it? I am looking through her eyes and I do see how it is an expensive camera for a teen but she knows I take care of electronics like crazy!

I suggest that you get a part time job and begin saving your money to buy it yourself. Meanwhile, begin your "hobby" with simpler equipment and build from there.

do every thing what your mom wants and promise her
that you will take good care of the camera and tell her that
you will not use this in bad things...
