What the name of this movie?

Its really old because I remember seeing it as a child, but I have no Idea what its called.

So basically is a guy with his sled dogs, and a storm is coming fast and he has to get out of there asap forcing him to leave his team behind and he has them tied up and after he leaves all but one break free from the chains and wander the tundra and they fight for survival and in the end the guy comes back to find one dog buried by the snow and the rest gone, and he calls for them and they all come running except for the really young new one and the old respected on because she got hurt or something so the young one stays behind with her and the guy finds them and brings them home.....
