I have a 18kt gold ring that I need resized?

I would like the band to be silver as it is much more durable and the band is SEVERELY scratched up right now and thinning actually. Can this be done?

    I don't think so.. But you should just go to one of those gold buying stores and sell your ring to them and use the money you got to buy a new one.
