Close friend notifications acting strange?
I have one person listed as a close friend so everytime that person makes a status update, I get a notification show up under close friends.
The last week or so, I've been getting these notifications but no change to her status. What could be causing that? I've pointed out to her that it seems strange she's been so quiet on Facebook lately but she hasn't said a thing about it.
Starting to wonder if she's hiding her status updates from me and some other people but I'm not sure why I'd still get notifications if that's the case

it sounds to me like yes, she is hiding them from you - she probably posted a status to all friends, giving you the notification, and then she quickly changes it to "close friends" or something of the like, assuming you arent added to her close friends list
then it will disappear for you
