I had a guy friend for yrs that thought I was attractive and would always tell his other guy friends how amazing I was but I was never attracted to him in any way and he couldn't imagine crossing the line and losing our friendship. So, yeah, I think it's possible to feel that way. Plus, maybe the attraction isn't strong enough to be willing to risk losing such a good friend. Relationships can get messy, and the clean up can be H***.

Yes, but maybe he has a gf and loves her more. Or he likes other girls too and doesn't want to be tied up.
