Does This Name Look Tacky Spelled This Way?
Christien, with an "e" for a guy. I'm just wondering y'all's opinion on it. I think it looks alright from the traditional "a" at the end, but I need another view. Thanks!

No it does NOT look tacky. I very much prefer Christien to Christian. I love the name but avoid it because it looks like a religious preference. Christien looks like a name and nothing else. It is the French spelling and nearly all sources say that it is exclusively for a boy.

Yes, it's tacky, and just plain strange. Why would you want to change it?
Actually, it's mostly just confusing. It would mean a lifetime of having to correct the spelling.

Feel free to name your baby anything you like. If you like the name, Christien, then use that name.

I'm not sure tacky is the right word, but it does look wrong. It is such a common word that I think that spelling it wrong will just cause problems.

I think it's fine and not tacky at all. But, be a little careful as some people might mistaken it for 'Christine' and therefore pronounce it wrong or tease the name holder. Good luck :)

Yes - it looks like a typo of Christine.
