  • He Just Stopped Talking To Me? (Repost)?

I'm reposting because they had downtime last night so I'm figuring no one saw this. Anyway, I've been talking to this guy I met online for about a month now. He works A LOT so he's super busy but we've been out on a couple of dates, and they both went really well! In the most recent one we went to see a movie and he was holding my hand and laying on me, that kind of thing. Like, his actions say he likes me, but when I'm not with him I don't know what to think! I've been driving myself insane wondering if he is really interested or not, or if he is just really bad at communicating? I asked him a few weeks ago flat out if he was interested, and he said that he is, he's just busy. But now I haven't heard from him in about a week, so I'm thinking is he really busy, not much of a texter, or should I just let it go? I heard guys are not as big on texting as girls are, but wouldn't that vary from person to person? I'm not sure if that's true...:/ And I've initiated contact before, tried to keep it on an equal basis, but I'm worried about coming off desperate or clingy if I say anything at all. I'm trying to think of anything I could've done or said that was wrong, but anything I did/said was playing along with him, so I don't know what the deal is. What do you think is going on and what should I do?? I can live with the fact that he's not interested, I just want to know what happened. I want to ask him if he wants to do something on the Fourth, that I way I'll know for sure, but I came here before I mess up and say something stupid. Please help me. Thank you.

  • How to Correct This Huge Mistake?

Okay, so I've been texting this guy for all of about five days. We're super into each other. And sex hasn't been mentioned at all--until tonight. And it's all my fault! He was out a concert and got a little ****-faced. So we're texting, and he's about to go to sleep, and he brings up "room service" and he'd like his "pillows fluffed". So, stupid me plays into this whole sexting thing, and it just went downhill from there, if you know what I mean--or uphill, if that's how you want to look at it? I'm extremely vulnerable right now because I haven't been with anyone for about five months, and I know that's no excuse. I don't want to come off as a tease, and I don't want to scare him away, because he's really awesome. BUT, I also don't him to think he's going to get some on the first date, that's just not my style. I have self-control, he just caught me at a weak moment. Is there anyway I can fix this, or did I just screw myself over? Help!

  • How Do I Tell Her "No" Politely?

I have an old friend who asked me for a ride to school at least twice this week. Now, it wouldn't be a problem, except the school is closer to me than I am to her. Literally, she lives thirty minutes away, so she's out of the way. I did it one time before, and I told her I wouldn't do it again because she lived so far out of the way. Now she is taking my kindness for weakness! Where I live it is essential that one has a car to get around--she's been here for going on four years and still doesn't have a car! Her boyfriend used to be her chauffeur, but they recently broke up, and I don't want to be a replacement. How can I tell her "no" politely without sounding like a total b-word??

  • Is This Letter to my Ex Okay?

Subliminal "I-Want-You-Back Letter" to my Ex?

Okay, I have a question for you guys. I have hand written a short and sweet good-bye letter to my ex. We've been broken up for three months at the end of this month, no contact whatsoever. At the end of June (when we broke up), he asked if we could still be friends, but I declined. I've already decided that I am going to give it to him, so that is not the issue, which is if this letter is suitable or not:

    "Dear ---,

I know that we have not spoken in awhile. You are probably wondering why I am writing you at all. Well, remember when you stated that your mother is not renewing the lease on the house? I know you are both departing, and, I did not want you to go before I got to say good-bye.

I expect you have progressed. You may even still harbor some negativity in my direction, and I can live with that--I have lived with that. But that is all okay. I only want the best for you, and I want you to be happy, now and forever. I do not know if you are happy, but I presume that you are, and I want it to stay that way. The only thing I am most sad about though, is a wonderful friend I have lost, and will miss so, so much. Take care, ---. Be well. Stay safe."

I honestly do want a chance to say good-bye, because I'm not sure if he is moving or not, that's just what he told me at the end of June. I am also okay with him not responding, I've reached that point, because it will be closure for me, and I will feel satisfied that I did everything I could. But, if he does respond, I kind of want to get a line of communication going. Is there anything I should change, delete, or add in? Also, what would be the best way of delivering it to him? I was thinking I could place it under his windshield wiper in an envelope (like a parking ticket) late Sunday night, that way I know he would definitely get it the next time he used his car (he lives down the street from me). Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

  • Am I Being Taken Advantage Of?

I have a co-worker that I'm cool with, and we get along great, but she keeps asking me to work her shifts for her. The thing is, she doesn't even really need a day off, she just doesn't want to work. First, it was one day, and I was fine with that, no problem. But then, it was another day, and yesterday, a half day. Then just now she asked me if I could work Labor Day for her, tempting me with the whole time and a half. Honestly I don't care about that, because it's not much of a difference on the paycheck, in my opinion. To me it's not about the money, it's the principle. This is the fourth shift she's asked me to take for her this week! I will take shifts for my co-workers, but when it becomes continuous, I begin to question if they really need a day off or if my kindness is being taken for weakness. Please tell me what I should do in this situation. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

  • How Can I Avoid Seeing My Ex In This Situation?

Okay, so I haven't talked to my ex in a month, and things have really started to get better. However, recently one of my friends asked me (male) if I'd like to try out a gym in my area with him, because he has a free membership there, and if I go with him, I'd get a free-week pass. The only problem with that is, I don't really want to work out, and my ex works out there! I really don't want to run into him. I'm even going to attend a different campus (community college) in the fall so I won't run into him accidentally. I really don't want to see him, if you can't tell. Usually this situation has been a breeze for me, but If I start to go there (where his mom and little sister work out as well) I might run into either of them, which would be really awkward. I don't want him to think I'm following or spying on him or something. Then again, it is only a week...should I just go ahead and do it, or decline the offer?

  • What's a Pretty way to Spell This Name?

"Micha", pronounced, my-kah. I think it's a beautiful name for a girl, but I just don't like the original spelling. Any suggestions would be helpful, nothing tacky, or too "unique", though, please. Thanks. (:

  • How Would you Spell This Name?

Caden? I really like this name, but it can be spelled so many different ways. I think "Caden" is kind of boring and "Kaden" is kind of girly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I want something that looks nice, but isn't too "unique", if you know what I'm saying. Any opinions are appreciated, thanks.

  • What Should I Do About My Exes?

I have two exes. My most recent ex, "A", and my ex from high school "B". B and I are like best friends--we're also friends with benefits, which was the agreement when we started to talk again, because I was still hung up over A, and B was hung up over his ex. He takes me out and we play video games and hang out, just like normal friends do. Just today, though, he brought up the fact that he doesn't want to be fwbs forever, and that at some point he'd want a relationship. I'm not sure how I feel about this, because I like B, but it doesn't compare to how I feel about A, I'm so in love with him, and when I'm in a relationship, I'm committed--I can't give that to B right now.

A and I talk just about everyday, but I'm not sure if we'll ever get back together. He lives three hours from me, and B lives an hour away (when I'm at college.) The problem is I don't want to stop talking to A, and I don't think I can. I don't want to make B unhappy, because I know how he feels about me. Can someone please advise me? Thanks.

SN: A and I are both twenty-one, and B is twenty.

  • Does This Name Look Tacky Spelled This Way?

Christien, with an "e" for a guy. I'm just wondering y'all's opinion on it. I think it looks alright from the traditional "a" at the end, but I need another view. Thanks!

  • Ex Wants to Meet up Then Changes his Mind?

What is your take on this?

My ex and I have been broken up for about four months. Recently, he just started contacting me again. So we were Skype chatting last night, and he brought up the idea to meet up. Now I was quite surprised, because when we were together, it was long distance, and he lives 2.5 hours away from me. I asked him why, and his reasoning was that he "just thought to do it" and "it just came" to him. :/ So I proposed to meet him halfway. It was just so random, because he suggested going to the shooting range, which I've never done before. He told me how much the ammo costs (he wanted me to pitch in,) but after Christmas, I'm pretty much low on cash, and I don't have twenty dollars to be spending on rounds. Then I said I was going shopping today (I received a ton of gift cards,) so he said that was cool, and that's what we agreed on. He made a comment that he was supposed to come up with this idea and that I in turn should've turned him down, which would make me look like a "meanie", whatever that means.

So! I texted him this morning to see if we were still on, and he just said "no". Now honestly, I don't really care that he said "no", I just want to see if anyone out there understands why he would want to meet me then change his mind!

  • Anyone Know the Name of This Song (Death cab for Cutie?)?

Any DCFC fans out there? This has been irking me for awhile: I have a song on my iPod that I'm pretty sure is Death Cab. Awhile back I meant to download their song "You can do Better Than Me," but when I checked out the lyrics for that song, it didn't match up! I also checked songmeanings.net for all of their songs, and it wasn't on there! The chorus goes like this:

    "14 million different stories

Each of us could curse a lie.

    Trading stickers,

    At the front porch

Could have been your first resistance.

It happened while you spent your days,

    At home.

    At home."

The lead singer's voice is extremely clear in this song, so if you need the second verse let me know. And sorry if I messed up the lyrics, but that's what I got!

  • Do You Remember This Show? (Nineties Kids, ONLY!)?

This has been bothering me like crazy. It was about this kid named Bobby--he kind of had a big football head with black hair, and a brother (I think his name was Derik,) and he'd always pick on Bobby and call him "dweeb" or "dork". Also, his family would always rub his hair and go, "Nuggie, nuggie, nuggie, nuggie!" and he hated it. I used to watch it all the time when I was little, but I can't for the life of me remember the name. Can you? Late eighties kids may know, too. It was a cartoon, if that helps.

  • Anyone Know of any Good Protein Treatments/Conditioners?

I'm thinking about using some protein for my hair once monthly now, because I've read online that it's better to use it than to not use it; I was just wondering if any of y'all know of any good treatments or conditioners that you've heard about or used, or know someone that used it and it worked for them? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

  • Would you Ever get Your Eyeball Tattooed?

I saw this on "Taboo", it comes on National Geographic. This is the actual shot of it, if you want to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAmvUAhX3kg&oref=ht...

What are your thoughts on this? The tattoo artist had tested this on a PIG before he actually did it on this guy.
