Is Ricky Rubio going to be the next John Stockton?

A very young pass-first point guard that has been playing pro-basketball since he was 14. His Euroleague and Olympics experience is a plus factor for him but will he developed his game in the NBA that will make him one of the top non-American PG that ever played in the NBA?

stockton knew how to play defense. so no.

i do see ricky rubio as being like pistol pete maravich though. plays very similar like him as well.

just a matter of if rubio can do what maravich couldn't- win that elusive championship.

Nooooo way. He's good now but it's hard to tell how much better he's going to get. You're seeing the best his passing will ever be right now and I don't see him as much of PG threat until he learns to play defense. He'll be solid for years to come but he'll never come close to John Stockton.
