Please allow me to translate the posting by Coldfuse (I speak fluent capitalist bullshit): "Bain Capital purchases (leverages) companies that are failing (earning healthy profits) and revives them (siphons off all value then destroys them)."

This is an intriguing and interesting twist on the idiotic Supreme Court decision that gave person status to corporations, especially in light of the provable fact Willard Mitt Romney made his billions as a CORPORATE RAIDER, dismantling businesses vital to American communities and then selling off the pieces to the highest (usually foreign) bidders. Ruthless disregard for the needs of the American people his raiding actions displaced coupled with the killing off of viable (functional) businesses in order to FEED THE GREED of investors (the top 1%)...perhaps sociopath or serial killer would indeed apply.

Any good corporate law professor would argue that corporations have many of the same rights as people, such as the right to own property and the right to enter into contracts.
Romney is more like the physician who saves the lives of terminal patients. Bain Capital purchases companies that are failing and revives them. About the same as someone will need to do with America at the end of the Obama presidency.
No budget in almost three years - we are still waiting for Obama to show us his leadership skill.

He believes, as I do, that a corporation is people. A corporation is NOT an individual. Note the distinction. Following logically from there, it is easy to see that taxing corporations is just taxing the people in and associated with them even more.

Corporations are legal fictions used by human beings to navigate a complex financial world. Leftists make corporations out to be more than they really are.
