Can anyone recommend an eyeliner that can be difused with a finger?
The ones I've tried set too fast as black flat lines.

I don't really know any specifically, but I think I can give you a bit of help. It sounds like you're using a pencil, so warm the pencil up on the back of your hand (just make 2 or 3 strokes) and it should melt it down a bit and make it easier to work with.
If you don't want to do this, try using a gel eyeliner and heat it up a little and it should do the same thing. :)
