my cat is pulling hair out?
she does this every year around january/feb.... it seems after I put frontline on her she does this she had fleas but is INSIDE cat we had fleas in basement and came upstairs during summer she pulls tuffs of hair out her sides mainly I dont know which is worser fleas or hairballs?? :( does anyone know why she is doing this and what can I do? and why just once year.....

my cat did this he pulled out the hair around his back legs and tail area. The vets said it could be a flea allergy or stress. However if she does this after using frontline maybe she is allergic to it. Either way you should go to a vets to be sure.

Take her to the vet. She is either infested with fleas or allergic to the treatment.

you need to concider that all animas shed if its not sheding and you know it isnt you need to take it to the vet they will discribe medicin to make the fleas go away.
Source(s): i have mistaken sheding for the same thing.
