What is a super PAC.....?

I hope someone will explain exactly what this is and what it's for.

    A SuperPac is defined as "independent-expenditure only committees, which can raise unlimited sums from corporations, unions and other groups, as well as individuals."

    And since the Citizens United ruling the regulations on such Super PACs are non-existant.

    Big corporate money was already ruining the US political system and then the Supreme Court put the destruction in overdrive with the Citizens United ruling.

    A PAC to which corporations, unions, and other organizations can donate freely.

    It is a Political Action Committee with no limits on donations or expenditures.
