Why does everyone hate Fox News?
Almost Everyone I ask, even republicans, hate Fox with a passion. I'm 13, born a Republican and I believe in their ideas. Fox is pretty much the only conservitive news channel, and I watch it. I have seen bias against things like Tea Pary on CNN's behalf. Can someone please explain this to me in more detail?

Even Fox has acknowledged that most of their programming is entertainment/opinion and not news. Fox creates its own stories and provocations to generate ratings, and it is very successful.
Fox is very harmful to the conservative movement as they pander to more extremist views and cause dissention within the party. The reason the other news (which is entirely mainstream and not liberal) looks like they're on the left is because fox has gone so far to the right.
Anyone is welcome to watch whatever they chose, but don't call fox "news," it has moved into dangerous propaganda.

It's all about politics. Not everybody hates it as the posts show but Fox news is not regarded as a genuine news channel by many, it is really right wing political propaganda masquerading as a news channel, here in Europe it is considered a bit of a joke as all news channels here mostly adhere to journalistic principles of fairness, Fox does not. It is a mouthpiece for its owners who are very right wing, it was/is owned by an Australian called Rupert Murdoch who has recently been involved in telephone hacking, payments to the police and Members of Parliament scandals in Britain. The channel is mostly propaganda for ultra right politics which tend to be anti democratic and fascist in nature. As mentioned you don't have to watch it but when you are the victim of propaganda you don't often realise it, it's a sort of brain washing (Re. the old East Germany or modern North Korea) as you've nothing to compare it with, or you just accuse anyone who has an alternative view of being anti American or "a socialist" as though this is bad and no further explanation is necessary, though I think most people who do that can rarely able to give a definition of socialism or what being an American means, if anything. I have read that Fox news is the biggest propaganda machine since communist Eastern Europe (Often Fascism and Communism have many anti democratic features in common).
CNN is often accused of being Liberal (again a term used as a bad thing without need of explanation) or left wing (mostly by Fox?) but in my opinion it usually abides by journalistic principles of fairness.
As to the comment on being a "born a Republican", You weren't. You just picked up the politics of your parents as most people do, which means you have the politics you do by random chance of your parents (as Richard Dawkins would say about religion).
To summarise: To come to an informed opinion you need to know all the facts and that's something Fox deliberately does not provide. You can read more about Right wing politics, socialism, communism, fascism, propaganda, Left wing politics, etc. on Wikipedia. Other recommended reading: The Rights of Man by Thomas Paine and The American Constitution (So often quoted, so little read).

think approximately to be trolling real now. Fox information is maximum biased unreliable information source interior the historical past of information channels. Its merely a gaggle of real-wing republican conservatives who brainwash you. they're constantly contradicting themselves making themselves seem stupid. the persons at Fox and pals have faith that Sarah Palin is sensible and could have made a super vice president. You sir are the two f u c ok i n g dumb or have been brainwashed by potential of Fox information

I hate all mainstream media. Get your news from the Internet from multiple sources. Problem with Fox, Msnbc, or CNN is they are all bias. You can't get real news when you have constant politically driven spin on the topic. No mainstream media is news... It's entertainment.. They all brainwash you the point where they sacrafice accuracy, integrity, and journalism for political gain. I want to read the news and make my own opinions. I don't want to be told how I should feel.

Fox is the only conservative leaning news outlet. Some of their associates have been notorious for being a bit out there, I.E. Glenn Beck... While some may be full of it and not a "true" conservative, the rest are center right. All other media have a strong left wing bias, so naturally fox sticks out like a sore thumb, leaving it easy to mock and hate. People are too shallow to realize every news has a bias. IMO, the left Wing is a lot more critical and offensive. Republicans don't like it because they don't want nutty people like Glenn beck representing them. Personally, it's best to obtain news from a lot of different outlets and learn to put 2 and 2 together.

Fox News is news network for Republicans only and favors conservatives over liberals. Most people are liberals, which explains why most people hate them. Even Republicans can be liberals. You can tell by their views.

I hate them because they invent their own version of the news to reflect bad on any Democrat while at the same time twisting facts to make Republicans look good.
I don't see evidence of any other news agency doing that as policy.

In a survery of fox news viewers, 60% believed Palestine produced more weapons than Israel. For real. Its incompetent.
