Eating alot of salads .....?

As part of my new resigme to loose some weight before I go on a cruise in April, I have been eating alot of salads (usually for lunch and every second night for dinner) and I find that when I eat the salad - I am getting the worse cotton mouth that no amount of water fixes. Has anyone else had this when eating salad

Note: my salad is mostly different lettuce leaves, rocket, spinach, etc with a little carrot, red onion and my meat (chicken, ham, turkey)

Dry mouth. Salads have a lot of Vitamin K, which thickens the blood. Not good for you.

Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables. A lot less salads. Especially bad is lettuce.
